The HubNet.io has been created by Voyager Medical a Healthcare Technology provider based in London, UK. We are led by Wojtek (Mike) Bereza acting as our Managing Director, Alex Leung as our Clinical Lead and Eric Asher as Lead Doctor. We are passionate about health, technology and connectivity and believe that unprecedented benefits can be gained from harnessing the power of the internet, not only for patients but for healthcare providers too. We want our clients to do more with less by giving them seamlessly integrated tools to aid in what they do best.

Wojtek Bereza - MPharmS Independent Prescriber, Superintendent of Angel Pharmacies Ltd

Managing Director. Wojtek (Mike) Bereza is a community pharmacist based in Islington, London. He created the first fully autonomous pharmacist led travel clinic at Douglas Pharmacy in 2009 and went on to pioneer PharmaDoctor up until 2015. He is an indefatigable doer and loves to forage for mushrooms in his spare time.

Alex Leung - FRSPH MRPharmS Independent Prescriber (Course Director)

Alex Leung our Head of Education and Training. Professionally, Alex is a fellow of Royal Society of Public Health (FRSPH), and the Head of Travel Medicine and Allergy Services at five GP surgeries and pharmacies. He is also a Specialist Pharmacist Independent Prescriber and one of the first pharmacists to become an Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) in the UK.

Eric Asher - MBBS (Lead Doctor)

Eric is Voyager Medical's Lead doctor. Having been a Family Doctor in Australia 25 years he emigrated to the UK in 2000. He has since worked with Voyager Medical and two partners, Third Space Medical and AskTheDoctorUK.

Zalmia Khan

Senior Programmer. Originally from Islamabad, Pakistan, Zalmia is a veteran coder with almost a decade of experience under his belt. Having worked on a wide variety of projects ranging from media amalgamation sites to MRI imaging software he joined the company in 2015. He is an avid cricket player and a mean paceman.

Derek Evans MRPharmS, Ind Prescriber, FRGS, AFTM RCPS(Glasg)

Derek is an independent prescribing pharmacist with over 25 years of experience in travel medicine. He is the first pharmacist to be awarded Fellow of the RPS for travel medicine and has been made an adjunct Clinical Professor of Pharmacy Practice for his teaching and education in travel health. He is widely published in papers and articles internationally and is Chairman of the pharmacist group of the International Society of Travel Medicine. He is currently involved in practice-based research and leading the working group on minimum standards for immunisation and travel health at FIP.

Irfan Mirza MRPharmS, Ind Prescriber

Irfan is our deputy Clinical Director. He started his career at Abbots Langley Pharmacy, then went on to work for an Independent pharmacy chain, achieving local recognition as retailer of the year. Having completed his independent prescribing qualification his work focuses on running long-term condition clinics within surgeries across Essex. Irfan is very enthusiastic about sport; namely football and cricket, and also enjoys movies and eating out.
